With our state-of-the-art independent production facilities in Europe, we maintain short transport routes to Germany and are therefore able to protect the environment.
When making our fabrics, we are increasingly using cotton from controlled organic cultivations. No toxic or chemical substances are used in the cultivation of organic cotton, so we’re doing our bit to ensure sustainable protection for the environment. Beyond that our baby brand Sanetta Fiftyseven has been certified with the Global Organic Textile Standard (CERES-0352) since autumn/winter season 2017. With this global standard we guarantee a sustainable production of our textiles during the entire production process.
We also take care to use our resources as sparingly as possible. For instance, we cover 45% of our electricity requirements using the solar energy we generate from our solar power system. The combined heat and power generation in our power plant means we only use energy once in order to generate both electricity and heat.
In addition to our economical use of energy, it goes without saying that we use recyclable materials and supervise waste separation so that our children can look forward to a natural and healthy environment in the future.
